Romantic, Timeless, and Full of Heart
Two weeks ago, I had the absolute joy of photographing Adam and Brianna’s engagement session on the breathtaking campus of St. John’s University. The warm, hazy sunshine gave us the most dreamy light for a summer evening shoot. It felt like their love was perfectly in sync with the glow of the day.
We spent about two hours exploring some of the most picturesque spots around campus. From a quiet beach and peaceful dock to wide open fields and even a tucked-away parking lot surrounded by evergreens (the perfect backdrop for their Ford Bronco photos), every location added a unique layer to their story.
Their session was full of real connection...
...the kind that’s easy to photograph because it’s so genuine. These two have been together since they were teenagers, having first met when Brianna was 15 and Adam was 16. After six months of chatting, they met up (with a friend in tow, of course), and the rest is history. Their first date was a movie night seeing a Hunger Games movie (a classic of course!). And their first “I love you” happened during their very first Christmas together, when Adam just couldn’t wait any longer, and what a perfect day!
It’s clear that their relationship is rooted in deep friendship, sweet memories, and so much love. During our session, I got to play around with new posing ideas and creative techniques, and they trusted the process completely. Even when we almost got hit by a few overly-enthusiastic Johnnies playing spike ball nearby, or running up and down hills...these two kept smiling, laughing, and loving on each other through it all.
Watching their emotional connection shine through my lens was something I won’t forget. Their June 2026 wedding is going to be one for the books, and I’m beyond honored to be the one to capture it.
Adam and Brianna, thank you for being so open, adventurous, and sweet. You truly made this session special.
